About I-Care COD
Our History
I-CARE Community Outreach Development, Inc. (I-Care COD) was founded in 2020 with a vision to create a more inclusive and supportive community for all. Recognizing the growing need for comprehensive support services, our founder, Trina D. Hodges, established the organization to address the challenges faced by underserved populations in our area. Initially focused on providing necessities such as food, clothing, and shelter to those in need, I-CARE quickly expanded its services to include educational programs, job training, and resources.
Through partnerships with local businesses, schools, and other non-profit organizations, we broadened our reach and deepened our impact. In 2021, I-CARE launched its flagship initiative, I-CARE Toys-for-Tots, providing hope and support to children in need through toys, books, food, and games. This initiative marked a significant milestone, demonstrating our commitment to helping families and fostering sustainable development.

We aim to empower our residents through education, support services, and a sense of community, helping them build a brighter future for themselves.
